1. Create a bond

If you are not close with your child I advice you get close now, because no child will open up to you if you are strict and so up tight.

Let them feel like they can talk to you; be their best friend, confident and someone they love to be around, that way the sex talk will feel less weird for them.

2. Make time with them

If you are a very busy parent, forming good bonds with your teen would be difficult. Schedule dinner out or eat meals together at home. Look for activities to spend quality time together, like going on a vacation or watching a movie together. Make them feel like you are always there for them so that you can have meaningful conversations.

3. Ask them about their relationship

This is the most difficult part as most kids wouldn’t want to tell their parents about their relationship most especially if they are not above 18.

However, its best to know your child’s boyfriend or girlfriend.

If you can easily pull off this steps with success, the sex talk will be a walk in the park for you.
