Sunmbo Adeoye, the wife of clergyman Pastor David Adeoye and baby mama of singer, 2Baba has urged men to support and love single mothers without fear or discrimination.
Taking to her Instagram page Sunmbo addressed the general misconception about single mothers. She clarified that single motherhood isn’t a curse or a life sentence, assuring that no man is doomed for supporting and helping raise a single mother’s children.
The mother of four also urged single parents looking for a fresh start to steer clear of anyone who judges or labels them negatively.
She wrote,
“Single motherhood is not a life threatening disease, neither is it a contagious spell. You don’t become unfortunate for loving her and supporting to raise her children. No!!
“I just felt the need to encourage a single parent out here who desires a fresh start. If that person approaching you is judging you by the label, he/she doesn’t deserve to marry you.”
Sunmbo has been married to Pastor David for eleven years. She always sings his praises and considers him her divine compensation and biggest gift from God; most importantly for
for embracing and accepting her two sons – Zino and Nino whom she had with 2Baba.
