We live in a world where fashion is rapidly changing and tremendously growing. In this same world, breaking conventions seems to be the order of the day. In the 70s and 80s, a suit was sacred in the streets of London and worn with either a pair of brogues, monk straps or loafers. These days, Sneakers and Suits are a magical trend. From Street style looks to runways to even events (cocktails) a tailored suit is spotted with running kicks. In adopting this trend, there are a couple of things too, however, note to pull off a compliment-worthy outfit. The first is, when wearing suits and sneakers, the pants must be fit. You know how men wore bell bottomed pants in the 80s, and had wide-bloated pants with their suits in the 60s; this should not be adopted with the Suit and Sneaker trend. Instead, a well-tailored pants which will sit and slightly cover the tongue of the sneakers.
Secondly, find the right sneaker. Be it high top or low top, not every sneaker goes well with a suit. Remember the Rick Owens X Adidas collaboration that featured the spring blade? They are a No-No with suits. Instead pick New balances, Converses or even the Yeezy boost to accentuate your style/suit.
