Sammie Okposo is a Nigerian international gospel artist. He’s likewise a music producer, psalmist and CEO of Zamar Entertainment. He released his first album “Addicted” in 2004. He has produced with numerous other artists in the fields of gospel and soul music, carrying out regularly in Africa, Europe and North America., and organizes a series of shows called SOPP (Sammie Okposo Praise Party). His notable album, The Statement (2018), was created by Grammy winner Kevin Bond.
CAREER
Sammie officially launched his career as a producer in 1992, when he joined the Nigerian film industry as a soundtrack director and ultimately ventured into music product. In 2000, he took the music industry by storm by releasing his debut album”Unconditional Love”with the single”Welu-Welu”, which took him beyond original recognition on the transnational stage.
