The King Stich sport features different Nigerian personalities who have refused to conform and have successfully chased and achieved their dreams. It features celebrities like Teni the entertainer, Model Uche Uba, music artist Tomi Thomas, model Adetutu Alabi, style influencer Jenifer Oseh, rapper Ladipoer and media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. Apart from not conforming to the status quo, each celebrity featured in the spot are known to make bold statements with their fashion choices. With the campaign, Budweiser is also throwing its support behind the Nigerian fashion industry.
Through the King Stitch campaign, Budweiser has created a platform where youths can engage and be engaged to celebrate their individuality. Budweiser targets youths who are bold enough to break out of the box the society tries to put everyone in. This is why they started the King Stitch program – to give selected young Nigerians the opportunity to learn and create collections under internationally acclaimed designers; Adebayo Oke-Lawal of Orange Culture and Tokyo James of Tokyo James.
Budweiser held a fashion show in Lagos on Wednesday, May 1st as part of the program and in attendance were celebrities like Toke Makinwa and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu as well as many influencers who all showed up in a variety of really chic looks.
