STREET STYLE – THE FASHION LOVERS RUNWAY

Fashion week is upon us, in two days actually and we thought it would be cool to share some street style ideas with you.

Over the years, the street style has become just as important as the runway show, it’s even safe to say it’s the runway for the fashion bloggers, models and fashion enthusiast.

When working the street style, you need to bear in mind what the streets stand for, “owning your own” style & identity so you are expected to not just be creative but comfortable in your own style, you also need to remember the weather of the country you are in. for instance there is no winter in Nigeria , Its even very humid at the moment so no need for furs and trench coats , that’s for those of us who over did ourselves and wore all our wardrobe last year.

Also, there is no limit to your layering but minimalism is key, you really don’t want to look like a drag.

Details and Statement pieces are street style favourites, be sure we at Glam squad would be looking out for those. Shoes, Accessories, outfits, slogan outfits, hair do, eye wares etc.

Lastly, we would be your fashion police so remember, the Po Po’s are coming and we would be watching.

See some ideas below.
