A couple of celebrities have reacted to the revelation made by the chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, which stated that a lot of Nigerians in diaspora are relocating back to the country.

On Thursday, August 25, Dabiri-Erewa said this despite the fact that many Nigerians want to leave the nation. She was speaking at a press conference at the state house in Abuja.
She claims, “We speak about ‘japa’ as a one-way phenomena, but there are other Nigerians who are continually returning home. Nigerians have made sporadic or regular homecomings to work in the fields of agriculture, healthcare, and other exciting endeavors.

The hospital where the VP was recently treated was set up by diaspora doctors. I’m not saying Nigeria’s not a challenging environment, but we must also acknowledge those who are coming back home to do impactful things.”
While reacting to the news on an Instagram blog, Nollywood actress Shan George stated, “The person that reported that to you is lying ma.”
Igbenidion Sammy wrote: “Keep lying to yourselves failure.”
Don Willy wrote: “Because they won’t sleep at work na ..a lot of Nigerian are moving out of the country. That’s what I know. “
