“Stop buying airtime from banks, buy from hawkers”, Yvonne Jegede tells Nigerians

An order to reduce the level of unemployment in the country, beautiful actress, Yvonne Jegede has urged Nigerians to always patronise road side recharge card vendors rather than buying from banks or other electronic means.
The filmmaker took to her social media to plead with Nigerians to buy airtime from people, not machines.
“Please stop buying airtime from banks, buy from hawkers (those who sell on the road or around your home areas) because our poor brothers and sisters are now becoming jobless so that they will earn a living. Don’t indulge in the practice of making the rich richer and the poor poorer. Save our people from losing their small businesses, thanks,” she stated.
Yvonne then went ahead to share her own personal experience and how she came to the realization that small businesses are on the receiving end.
“I have bought airtime for almost a year now by dialing my phone because I thought the stress has been taken away.
“Honestly, this message just made me have a rethink. What stress could be more stressful than the fear of unemployment? I know the stress has been taken from a lot of us who hate to scratch cards to recharge but I believe this message will touch someone just as it did mines,” she wrote.
The screen diva, gained popularity for her appearance in 2face’s hit track, African Queen. Since then, she has continued to captivate her fans with her acting talent and brilliant delivery.
