American singer Britney Spears and her husband, Sam Asghari marriage, has hit a rough patch.
According to TMZ sources, Britney got physical with Sam and screaming matches have been frequent. Things have reportedly gotten so volatile that security had to step in.
Sam doesn’t stay at their home much anymore and it’s especially alarming because of how she has come to rely on him. It is unclear if the couple are seeking ways to settle their issues amicably.
Recall that Spears, 41, and the model, 9, tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in June 2023.
Last week Spears posted an oblique comment about relationships to her Instagram.
The pop superstar reposted text reading, ‘In every relationship there’s the person who falls asleep instantly and the other person who lies awake wondering how that’s even possible.’
The post was credited to the blog Thoughts From Aisle 4, which is written by Marlene Kern Fischer.
It wasn’t clear from Britney’s comment why exactly she chose the post, or if it was supposed to refer to her marital situation with her husband Sam.
Last month, the pair were rumoured to be weathering marital woes when they were each pictured without their wedding rings.
An insider told DailyMail.com that despite reports, all was well between the couple.
‘All is good,’ the source dished, adding, ‘Sam is working on a project and she is on a vacation with [manager] Cade [Hudson].’
On Friday Asghari shared a snippet of him hiking with Britney, grinning beside the blonde star as they posed in front of a gorgeous view of the ocean.
