Kemi Amusan, is one of those rare types that come along every few decades. A model with as many catwalks and Editorials under her belt as any of her talked about contemporaries, The Young Grace Jones has looks, talent and a portfolio befitting of a Supermodel. Never one to shy away from the difficult tasks she is as professional a model as they come. With one of the most versatile looks in the Nigerian modelling industry, Kemi has the ability to go from Grace Jones level fierceness to soft and distant looks. An absolute joy to work with, Kemi’s level of professionalism and the results work she produces would make any Creative Director weak in the knees. Kemi is easily one of the most underated models of her time and i can’t quite understand why.
Not only has she walked the runway for several editions of the Lagos Fashion and Design Week, Kemi also has a repetoire of names in Fashion that matter under her belt. She counts gigs with names and brands like; Maki Oh, Lisa Folawiyo Studio, Ayo Van Elmar , Weiz Dhurm Franklyn, Kelechi Amadi Obi and Lakin Ogunbawon as part of her portfolio.
The Model recently transitioned into a hair stylist and is constantly evolving in the Creative space, for that and several shades of editorial awesomeness, she gets her very own spotlight moment.
