Simi, a Nigerian musician, has turned to X to express her displeasure over being misrepresented following a recent interview.

In the tweet she made following the interview about not “listening to music,” she forcefully asserted, “I’m deading that shit immediately.” I said I didn’t listen to music. I don’t know any music. If I wasn’t me, I wouldn’t know my songs, and if I wasn’t with my partner, I probably wouldn’t know his either because I don’t listen to music.”
Simi went on to criticise the tone of some interviews, saying, “I hate doing these stupid interviews because they don’t care about your success. They will either lie or put things out of context so that others can pick on you. “I despise wicked people.
