Rotimi, a Nigerian-American singer and actor also known as Olurotimi Akinosho, has claimed that Tiwa Savage is his cousin.
This was revealed by the ‘Power’ star in a video posted on his Instagram page on Thursday.
He claimed to have kept the knowledge under wraps for a while but was glad to finally reveal it.
He captioned the video, “We’ve been holding this secret for so long !!! So happy to share the vibes with everyone!”
Being in the video, Tiwa Savage confirmed that Rotimi was her cousin.
“Listen, I got a surprise mehn. Y’all never guess who my actual blood cousin is. You’ve got to paint this beautiful queen right now,” Rotimi said, pointing to Tiwa.
Tiwa Savage replied, “This is Tiwa, aka African Bad gyal, aka Mama Jamjam, aka Rotimi’s real cousin.”
The vocalists also stated that a song they sang together will be released soon.
