The raving Nigerian recording artiste and entertainer whose real name is Chukwuka Ekweani, took to his official social media page to announce his upcoming album. This is coming after he became the first Nigerian act to reach one billion Streams on Spotify with just one song.

‘Love Nwantiti’ which happens to be a record off his studio album, “CKay The First” which was released on Friday, August 30, 2019 and all its remixes have been streamed over a billion times in three years.

The ‘Love Nwantiti’ hit-maker and newly signed Warner Records prodigy has taken to his verified Twitter page to state that, his upcoming album will make history. “MY ALBUM WILL MAKE HISTORY”, CKay tweeted.

Recall that Glamsquad Magazine reported that CKay, whose single ‘Love Nwantiti’ sold over 8 million units worldwide, was not nominated. Nigerians have resorted to social media to express their outrage over the omission of CKay from the 2022 Headies nominees.

This made some fans believe that CKay was robbed during this year’s nominations. Some say CKay, who had the year’s biggest single, ought to be recognized.
