Charly Boy , a Nigerian musician and activist has kicked against reality star and model, Nengi’s appointment by Bayelsa State governor Duoye Diri over a first-class graduate.
Glam Squad Magazine recalls that the Big Brother Naija star Nengi was appointed as the senior special assistant (SSA) on girl child development to Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri on November 6. She was also named the face of Bayelsa State, also her co-reality star, Trickytee got an appointment from Mr Duoye.
Charly boy, like some other Nigerians who did not embrace the development took to his social media page; Instagram where he shared his displeasure on Tuesday describing the appointment as a misplaced priority.
The 70-year-old also said that the first-class lady is a graduate of Law from Niger Delta State university.
“THE IRONY OF THE NIGERIAN STATE. The young lady with white is a first class graduate of the Niger Delta university, Faculty of Law, as well as a first class graduate Nigeria Law School… she was not Honnored by her Bayelsa State Government,” he wrote.
“In another development, a girl, who is alleged to be a Third Class Graduate and a participant(A Runner Up) in the “Big Brother Naija” show , was given a State Reception and was also Honored with a Government Appointment and was also declared the Role Model to the Bayelsa State Girl Child ( the Face of the Bayelsa Girl Child).”
