Shakira’s diss track, in which she made a subtle dig at her ex-partner Gerard Pique, broke the Latin YouTube viewing record.
In the diss track, Shakira revealed her feelings following her public breakup with former Barcelona defender Gerard Pique.
The singer went on a rant against her ex-partner, even mocking his 23-year-old girlfriend, Clara Chia.
”I was out of your league that’s why you’ve settled for someone just like you. I’m worth two 22-year-olds. You swapped a Ferrari for a [Renault] Twingo/You swapped a Rolex for a Casio,” she said in part of the lyrics of the song.
The song has received over 107 million views on YouTube since its release on Thursday, January 12.
The song has now become the most-watched new Latin song in YouTube history, with 63 million views in 24 hours.
The former couple has been married for over a decade and has two sons.
