Nigerian comedian Oluseyi Aletile, better known as Seyi Law, has reacted to reports and accusations of being involved in a cult.
A social media user identified as Cult Wahala Naija shared a video on X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday, alleging that comedian Seyi Law is a prominent member of the Eiye Confraternity, a secret cult. The user claimed that Seyi Law is a “supreme member” of the group and further suggested that nearly everyone in the South-West region is affiliated with the cult.
The tweet read, “So @seyilaw1 na supreme Eiye member. Almost everybody na Eiye for SouthWest.”
In response, Seyi Law addressed the allegations on his X account on Friday, hinting at the possibility of taking legal action against his accuser.
He tweeted, “I hope that when I take action now, people won’t call it oppression.”
Glamsquad recalls that Seyi Law recently bagged an appointment with the Osun State government.
On his Instagram page, Seyi Law disclosed that he had been appointed Senior Special Adviser on Entertainment and Tourism to the Governor, His Excellency Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
He appreciated the governor on his appointment and prayed that God help him in assisting the Governor to achieve his greatest vision of the state.
