Singer Seun Kuti has distanced himself from the ongoing feud between his music mates Burna Boy and Speed Darlington.
Speed Darlington was arrested for implying that Burna Boy had an improper relationship with controversial American music boss Diddy in an attempt to win a Grammy.

Responding to some fans’ remarks during a recent Instagram live session, Kuti stated that he would not want to be embroiled in the drama, emphasizing that Burna Boy buying him diamond jewelry does not make him his adviser. He further stated that Diddy, whom Speed Darlington accused Burna Boy of having illicit associations with, was the one who made the accuser popular.
Don’t involve me in Burna Boy & Speed Darlington’s case; because I collected a diamond from him doesn’t mean I’m his close adviser. Diddy was even the one who made Speed Darlington popular.
“He reposted ‘Bangdadang’ which made the song popular. I have done a lot of songs, and Diddy never posted any of them, but he reposted Speed Darlington’s song,” he said.
