Over the weekend, the maiden edition of the Genevieve Beauty Awards was held at the Victoria Hall of Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos.
The event was hosted by Vimbai Mutinhiri and had leading beauty industry professionals in attendance.
Ifeyinwa Ojekwe of Ajali Handmade Naturals received the Emerging Beauty Entrepreneur Category with a prize of €5,000 sponsored by the Cointreau Creative Crew.
Beauty Icons, Bobby Eke, Opral Benson and Alhaja Amisu Tejuosho were honoured with the Special Recognition Award for their outstanding commitment to the beauty sector in Nigeria.
