Nigerians have unearthed old tweets in which Wizkid spat with his former boss, Banky W, shortly after leaving his record company, EME.
This comes after Banky W detailed Wizkid’s departure from his music label in an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
Banky W said that Wizkid owed his label, EME, three albums before they parted ways.
According to him, Wizkid agreed to record a certain amount of albums while working under his label, but he did not follow through on his end of the bargain.
However, in the aftermath of Banky’s disclosure, Nigerians dredged up old tweets of the artists arguing and hinting to their feud.
Wizkid said in his tweets that he left EME because Banky W mistook his loyalty for foolishness.
Banky W, for his part, slammed Wizkid, calling him an ingrate for abandoning the label that helped him become a celebrity.
