Rosie Assoulin Fall 2022 RTW Collection

Rosie Assoulin Fall RTW Collection were indeed unique in every way as Rosie brought customers to a halt.

In the opening look, a crop top with a protruding ruffle was inspired by the silicone bib Assoulin’s young daughter wears while eating.

It was made of powder blue moire and was highlighted by gloves that were caramel in color. The 3-D shape of the top is mirrored in the skirt, yet although the latter feels modern, the former is traditional. The flowing fabric and the sculptural details yet complement each other.

A black coat with contrasting colored ribbons flowing down the front creates a similar effect in a more casual piece. Like the bib in a cadmium red dress, the improved waist-to-hip ratio here suddenly appears a little more wearable.
