Veteran actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo better known as RMD has handed a tough task to comedian, Basketmouth as he prepares to begin the next chapter of their life.
Glamsquad reported that Basketmouth disappointed social media users who eagerly anticipated that the comedian would open up about his divorce from his wife, Elsie and introduce his new heartthrob, Miz Vick to the world.
Instead, the 46-year-old comedian-turned-aspiring filmmaker unveiled his highly-anticipated debut movie, ‘A Ghetto Love Story’. Interestingly, RMD sharing in the joy of Basketmouth handed him a difficult task.

The tough task boils down to consulting his colleague and rival, Ayo Makun better known as AY.
Refreshing your memory, Basketmouth and AY were at loggerheads for 17 years in the industry over thirty thousand Naira. The matter came to limelight in 2023 after AY featured in an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo. However, after much back and forth with their junior colleague, Bovi at the centre of it, Basketmouth publicly apologized to AY.
To conquer the world of filmmaking, RMD advised Basketmouth to look up to AY who has successfully transitioned from stand-up comedy to Nollywood and bagged the name ‘King of Box Office’, Funke Akindele, ‘Queen of Box Office’, Mo Abud and Kunle Afolayan who are best at African storytelling and cinematic masterpieces.
