Veteran Nollywood Actor and everyone’s fantasy Sugar Daddy Richard Mofe Damijo a.k.a RMD is a Father. Duh right? The truth is it is soo easy to get accustomed to seeing people a certain way to the point that we forget that they have real lives and real families, especially when they’ve taken the pain to keep those parts of their lives away from public view. It was about a month ago when I saw a picture of RMD side by side his teenage son that it really hit me, He isn’t just our dream older lover from TV, He is a husband and father to adult kids. Go figure that it would be something of an awakening to me because as far as public view is concerned, this perception of RMD is a relatively new one for myself and many others. It’s also not rocket science why this is. Up until recently, RMD had done a stellar job keeping his private life, private. Little focus has been placed on his wife and kids before now. Maybe it’s life imitating art or the other way round. Whatever the case, we’ll have to say bye bye to RMD our fantasy older boyfriend and hello to RMD father to grown children, both on and off screen.
