The Civic Centre was a happy riot of red and white colours recently, when Resource Intermediaries Limited (RIL), gathered friends and family, staff and clients to celebrate their 10th year of doing business.
Managing Director/CEO of RIL, Soji Oyawoye, dapper in a cream tuxedo, was on hand to welcome guests and usher them to the red carpet where Actor and Musical artiste, Yinka Akanbi was dishing out melodious and evergreen tunes to the delight of guests.
Cocktail over, guests repaired to the cavernous belly of the Civic Center’s banquet hall where Comedian and event compere, Ali Baba, welcomed them to the event proper.
In his remarks, Soji Oyawoye said if anyone had told him the company he started with just two other members of staff would grow to a global brand, he would not have believed it, but 10 years down the line, RIL is now 4,000 staff strong.
Members of staff received long service awards plaques from the special guest of honour, Okechukwu Enelamah, Minister of Trade, Industry and Investments. Enelamah, in his speech, congratulated RIL for weathering the storm and coming out with heads held high.
