Reactions trail as Asake reportedly part ways with Olamide and his label, YBNL

Afrobeats star, Ahmed Ololade better known as Asake has set social media buzzing over reports that he parted ways with his boss Olamide and his record label, YBNL.

According to entertainment gossip blogger, Cutie Juls, Asake’s contract with Olamide’s YBNL came to an end, and when Olamide offered a new contract, Asake chose not to sign. Despite Olamide’s efforts to renew their partnership, all attempts proved unsuccessful as Asake declined.

The report further states that two weeks ago, Asake fully walked away from the deal, opting to take the path of independence and become his own boss. This move has left Olamide in search of new artists for his label.

Adding to the situation, Asake has unfollowed everyone on social media and removed YBNL from his Instagram bio.
