Bella Okagbue was ignored by Sheggz, a housemate from Big Brother Naija season seven, at the party thrown for the contestants after the show.
When Bella’s family issued a statement stating that she would not be discussing her relationship on the show, there were online rumours that their relationship was on the rocks.
Fans began to wonder about the status of Bella and Sheggz’s relationship when Sheggz made small talk with everyone else at the party but Bella.
During one of her media appearances, Bella stated that her only concern is building her brand and that she does not want to discuss her relationship with Sheggz.
This is in response to Gbemisola Akinde, Sheggz’s ex-girlfriend, accusing him of verbal abuse and manipulation.
Gbemisola claimed that she initially broke up with him during the trauma but that she later reconciled with him after he made a commitment to make improvements.
The entrepreneur went on to say that she finally ended her relationship with the 26-year-old in November 2021 after realising he did not change as promised.
“Nothing or no one can bring me down. I broke up with him officially in November 2021 and he was still trying different tactics to get back with me during his stay in Nigeria between December 2021 – March 2022.
“It was toxic. I’m not going to go into details as to what transpired between us and what didn’t. Everything Segun does is for his own selfish interest and I am thankful to be free from that relationship from hell you have no idea! I feel liberated,” she said.
