Rapper 21 savage gifts families in Georgia at his annual Grant-A-Wish event

In Stone Mountain, Georgia, on Wednesday, Rapper, 21 Savage hosted the fourth annual Grant-A-Wish event for his Leading By Example Foundation.

The 30-year old rapper, who recently collaborated with Drake on an album, gave out gifts and snacks to 100 local parents and their kids at the Wade Walker Family YMCA.

Billy Mitchell, a state representative for Georgia, proclaimed December 21 as “21 Savage Day” during the occasion.

The day is dedicated to the musician’s contributions to the community, including his Bank Account Campaign, which teaches “underserved youth financial literacy.”

The nonprofit organization also “provides scholarships, access to bank accounts and job placement for teens and students alike” in addition to offering free finance courses.

In 2018, the Leading By Example Foundation was established.
