For many viewers, seeing him standing in floodwaters and soaked almost to his shoulder was an emotional roller coaster. Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, Founder and General Overseer of Christ MercLand Deliverance Ministry, Warri, has once again demonstrated his concern for humanity by recusing flood victims and offering N4.5 million to alleviate their plight.

In a viral video, Prophet Fufeyin rescues over 5000 flood victims while providing temporary shelter, food, and clothing as floods ravage communities across Nigeria.

Fufeyin and his team, seen in the video holding a white ticket with the words “Rescue flood victims,” visited some of the country’s flood-affected states, including Anambara, Delta, Kogi, Bayelsa, and others.

Fufeyin had assembled the community with the agreement of the leaders in a town hall providing financial support and evacuating the most affected people into the church facilities while visiting Ayakoromo community in Burutu Council Area of Delta state. He emphasized that they would be cared for and given temporary shelter until the floodwaters receded in the area. This is a very thoughtful gesture that should be recognized, celebrated, and emulated.

The Chairman of the communities, Selman Richard, stated that Fufeyin was the first person to visit the community since it was submerged.

“We want to thank the man of God for personally coming to see to the sufferings of the people in the Ayakoromo community.” “No one else has come,” Richard said after receiving a N2,000, 000 cash donation for the community.

Fufeyin, who lamented the people’s plight, later added N500,000, bringing the total donation to N2.5 million.

While visiting another flooded community in the same state, Gbekebo, the man of God blessed the people with N2 million.

Even as children and elderly men and women were seen boarding a boat to be evacuated from the flood, the pastor supported a woman who had recently delivered twins but had lost her husband to the flood.

When the church arrived in Mercy City, it provided the victims with food, shelter, medical care, and clothing, with the cleric emphasizing that they would be feted until they returned after the flood.

This is a gesture that should be celebrated and emulated as well as appreciated. Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin Foundation is blessed by God.
