Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has silenced naysayers peddling rumours about her father’s absence at the first phase of her wedding in Tanzania.
Glamsquad reported that Priscilla and her heartthrob, Tanzania singer, Juma Jux tied the knot in a lavish islamic wedding on 7th February 2025.
To shut naysayers, Priscilla shared a screenshot of her video call with her father, Ademidun Ojo on her Snapchat story, adorning it with love emojis.
Controversial blogger, Gist lover had earlier affirmed that despite her parents’ separation, her bond with her father remains intact.
Many also cited that Mr Ojo’s absence was due to culture. Some believe Nigerian culture frowns upon a bride’s father attending the wedding at her in-laws’ home, as tradition dictates the reverse.
However, he chose to honor his daughter’s husband’s customs by showing his support.

One Mumi Tee wrote: “Iyabo has always said it in all her interviews that her children father is their life. As a Yoruba man, he can never follow them to Tanzania for the Nikai ceremony. He can delegate the mother and of course Festus his son to go there and do it. Which is ok. I want to believe he will be around for the ones in Nigeria. It is them that will come from Tanzania to come and prostrate for the brides father. The brides father can never go to the wedding in Tanzania.”
One Temmy Business World wrote: “I said it queen mother can nor stop them seen their daddy. That woman too mature than that. A woman with purely heart of golf.”
As the Congratulations continue to flood in, Netizens joyfully await the wedding ceremonies that will take place in Nigeria.
