Prince Harry reveals the purpose of title ‘Spare’ in his memoir

Prince Harry has revealed the title of his memoir, “Spare,” which was officially released on Tuesday, January 10.

“Two years older than me, Willy was the Heir, whereas I was the Spare.

“I was the shadow, the support, the Plan B. I was brought into the world in case something happened to Willy,” Prince Harry wrote referring to his brother and heir to the throne, Prince William.

He claimed he was aware of his responsibility to divert and distract his brother, or to offer, “if necessary, a spare part” to him. “Kidney, perhaps. Blood transfusion. Speck of bone marrow,” he added in detail.

“Because there must be no chance of the first and second in line to the throne being wiped out,” he added that his father, now King Charles III, could never travel by plane with his older son, William.

“But no one gave a damn whom I traveled with; the Spare could always be spared.

“This was all made explicitly clear to me from the start of life’s journey and regularly reinforced thereafter,” Prince Harry claimed.
