Prince Harry reveals royal family excluded him from flight before Queen’s death

After learning of Queen Elizabeth II’s passing, Prince Harry claims he was not invited on his family’s private royal jet.

“I asked my brother — I said, ‘What are your plans? How are you and Kate [Middleton] getting up there?’” the Duke of Sussex recalled during his “60 Minutes” interview with Anderson Cooper that aired Sunday.

“And then, a couple of hours later, all of the family members that live within the Windsor and Ascot area were jumping on a plane together. A plane with 12, 14, maybe 16 seats.”

Harry responded, “I was not invited,” when Cooper bluntly asked him to clarify whether he was “invited on that plane.”

On September 8, 2022, hours after his grandmother passed away, Harry arrived at Balmoral Castle.

The Duke of Sussex did not land until nearly an hour and a half after Buckingham Palace announced the Queen’s passing, while his family members arrived in Scotland around 4 p.m.
