Nigerian disc jockey and singer, Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, has fulfilled her promise of a philanthropic initiative to support African students studying abroad.
DJ Cuppy took to her Instagram Page to share a video of the unveiling of the ‘Cuppy Fund,’ a new initiative designed to provide financial assistance to New York University (NYU) African students.
Captioning the post, Dj Cuppy who rocked a purple Ankara fabric wrote
“So proud to launch the Cuppy Fund for African students at New York University.”
The billionaire heiress has received accolades from her fans on social media for her charitable act.

This is not DJ Cuppy’s first philanthropic act. DJ Cuppy established a virtual lab for students at Jakande Estate College in Lagos State In May 2023. In a video from her visit to the school, she shared her deep passion for education and expressed how fortunate she felt to be part of such a transformative initiative
In other news, DJ Cuppy took to her X page to tease her fans with the news of her return to school to get a fourth degree. While many advised her to engage in something else aside from education, others cheered her on.
Interestingly, a few days after her post, DJ Cuppy revealed she bagged her fourth degree from the London School of Economics. She took to her Instagram page to celebrate her latest achievement as she noted that she is addicted to education.
