The Lagos State Police Command has released the autopsy report on the late Ifeanyi Adeleke.

The infant died from drowning, according to the autopsy, Benjamin Hundeyin, Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the development on Saturday in a discussion with PUNCH.

“Autopsy has been concluded. It confirms the boy (Ifeanyi) drowned”, he stated.

Benjamin Hundeyin informed BBC Pidgin that Eniola Badmus was not detained when asked about the actress’ alleged arrest.

“The story is false, nothing like that happened,” Hundeyin said.

Early on Saturday morning, speculation regarding Eniola’s detention began. According to a number of blogs, the actress phoned Ifeanyi’s nanny on the phone to divert her attention from the fact that the youngster had left the room for the pool.

One of the first famous people to reveal the death of Ifeanyi in a cryptic message was Eniola Badmus.
