Emeka Rollas, President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, announced the arrest on Instagram. He stated that four suspects were apprehended after a petition was submitted to the Inspector General of Police.

Rollas wrote;

Appreciating the Inspector General of Police: On July 1, 2022, at approximately 2 p.m. in Enugu state, some armed men attacked one of my members, Mr. Steve Eboh aka AJEBO, who is also my SSA on Military and other Governmental Affairs.

We filed a petition with the Inspector General of Police, and an investigation was launched. I am pleased to inform the Actors Guild, our friends, and our supporters that four of the perpetrators were apprehended last night.

I appreciate the Inspector General of Police’s response.
This is a warning to all bullies who enjoy using actors to catch cruises. Nollywood has done a lot for Nigeria, so actors should not be the targets of verbal or physical abuse.

Nobody in the Actors Guild of Nigeria deserves to be victimized, assaulted, or intimidated by a woman. Not on my watch.
