Nigerian singer Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, better known as Blackface, has disclosed that efforts were made to reunite Plantashun Boiz, the now-defunct music group he co-founded with Innocent Idibia (Tuface) and Chibuzor Oji (Faze).
In a recent interview on Curiosity Made Me Ask podcast hosted by Isbae U,
Blackface revealed that the reunion efforts failed because he was excluded from the process.
The host, asked Blackface if there was any chance that the group might come back together.
It was during this interview that Blackface revealed his colleagues had attempted to reunite the group without involving him, but their efforts ultimately failed. In his words:
“Without me, they have tried and they have failed. Many times. You saw them in all those shows that they were going.”
“They tried but they failed. But what I must say is I’m the plantation. So let it be known. Forget the fake memo that they spread before.”
