Winners of the Critics’ Choice Awards
‘Everything, Everywhere, All at Once,’ starring Cate Blanchett and Brendan Fraser, was named best picture. Among the TV winners were ‘Abbott Elementary,’ ‘Better Call Saul,’ and ‘The Dropout, glamsquad reports.

Sunday night marked the 28th annual Critics Choice Awards.

The film had 14 nominations going into the ceremony.


On television, Abbott Elementary (with six nominations) was named best comedy series. Better Call Saul took home the award for best drama series, while The Dropout took home the award for best limited series.

Five Key Takeaways from the Critics’ Choice Awards


At this year’s show, held at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles, Janelle Monáe received the SeeHer Award, presented by Kate Hudson, and Jeff Bridges received the Critics Choice Lifetime Achievement Award from John Goodman.

The ceremony, which aired on The CW, was hosted by Chelsea Handler.
