Julianna Pena, a UFC fighter, was rushed to the hospital after losing a “big chunk” of her forehead during her defeat to Amanda Nunes at UFC 277 in Texas, glamsquad reports.

On Saturday night, July 30, the 32-year-old was knocked down three times and left with a gaping cut on her forehead before the judges scored the fight 50-45, 50-44, 50-43 in Nunes’ favor.
Julianna Pena, a female UFC fighter, is rushed to the hospital and taken to see a plastic surgeon after suffering a facial injury.
The fighter from Washington suffered several gruesome blows to the head and ended up looking like something out of a horror film as blood poured down her face.
Dana White, the UFC’s president, confirmed she was immediately taken to see specialists after her defeat was confirmed by the judges after going the distance.
‘Julianna’s got a big chunk missing from her forehead,’ White explained.
‘She’s seeing a plastic surgeon right now.’

White also admitted that Pena’s incredible career could be coming to an end, despite the fact that he was only crowned UFC bantamweight world champion in December after defeating Nunes in a major upset.
‘It takes some time to heal, and then I don’t know,’ White added.
