Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye, better known as Rudeboy, has shared his thoughts on the news surrounding Burna Boy’s reported arrest of controversial rapper, Speed Darlington.
Glamsquad reported that content creator, Constance initially reported Speed Darlington as missing, but soon after, news surfaced of his arrest.
His mother, Miss Queen took to social media to share a video message where she disclosed that Afrobeats award-winning singer, Burna Boy was responsible for Speed Darlington’s disappearance. She noted that he was arrested on Friday 4th October 2024.
She also begged Burna Boy for his release and called on Nigerians to come to her aid.
Speed Darlington’s lawyer, Deji Adeyanju later disclosed that Burna Boy was a key figure behind the arrest, allegedly over defamation claims.
Reacting to the drama, Rudeboy took to Instagram to share his thoughts, warning that freedom of speech has its limits.
He wrote
“Everything na cruise and jokes until hand touch you. Then they will say you are an oppressoer because you think you have money and all. There’s a huge difference between freedom of data and freedom of speech.”
Paul Okoye’s post sparked outrage as netizens shared their own opinions on the matter.
