The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, led by Pastor Lazarus Muoka, has pushed back against social media criticism of a questionable testimony, denying that it manufactures such accounts.
The controversy arose after a viral video surfaced featuring a woman claiming she fought off four armed robbers and seized a firearm, which she misidentified as an “AK-27,” prompting a pastor to correct her, stating it was an AK-47.
The viral testimony from a church member has sparked ridicule of other members’ accounts. The church, however, disputes the testimony, with spokesman Pastor Chidi Louis calling it fabricated, according to Vanguard.

Louis stated, “Nigerians should disregard the fake video and visit our church platform to listen to the complete testimony for better understanding. The woman’s story occurred in a dream, not in reality.”
He warned, “Don’t believe everything you see on the internet. Bloggers often edit content to ridicule the work of God. Most of these bloggers are wicked and devilish.”
The full clip of the woman’s testimony was released on the church’s TikTok handle.
