Pastor E.A Adeboye has reportedly handed over the mantle of leadership as the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God.
The respected man of God announced his decision on Saturday morning, January 7, 2017 to the ministers of the Church.
MayorNaijaBlog can now say authoritatively that Pastor E A Adeboye has stepped down as G.O. In a thanksgiving service this morning, the announcement was made that he is retiring and his position will be filled Pastor Joseph Obayemi who has been the the deputy in charge of Finance and a member of the governing body. He also used to be the Pastor in charge of Region 2 RCCG.
Pastor Adeboye will still be visible in all RCCG event world wide but will not be actively involved in the day to day activities. .
