Blessing Oborududu of Nigeria has qualified for the 2024 Olympic Games’ women’s wrestling 68kg semi-finals.
Oborududu defeated her French opponent, Koumba Larroque, 6-2 in their quarterfinal round.

She is now assured to depart Paris 2024 with a medal after qualifying for the final four.
Previously, the African champion defeated her Canadian opponent Linda Morais in the quarterfinals.
The muscular wrestler started slowly, dropping two points, but rebounded in the second half to score six consecutive points, winning the bout 8-2 on points. Oborodudu will perform again later this evening.
