Oscar 2023: Lady Gaga to perform ‘Hold My Hand’ at the 95th Academy Award

American singer-songwriter, Lady Gaga is set to perform at the Oscars 2023.

Some media sites indicate that the singer will perform her well-known song “Hold My Hand” from “Top Gun: Maverick” at the annual awards ceremony on Sunday at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The information follows Glenn Weiss, the executive producer and showrunner of the Oscars, announcing earlier this month at a press conference that 36-year-old will not be giving a performance at the ceremony.

“We invited all five nominees. We have a great relationship with Lady Gaga and her camp. She is in the middle of shooting a movie right now,” Weiss said at the time, referencing “Joker: Folie à Deux,” a sequel to 2019’s “Joker.”

“Here, we are honoring the movie industry and what it takes to make a movie after a bunch of back and forth,” he added. “It didn’t feel like she can get a performance to the caliber that we’re used to with her and that she is used to. So, she is not going to perform on the show.”
