Already, the king has welcomed two queens into the palace since his separation from Queen Silekunola. Following the marriage of Elizabeth Akinmuda, he wed Mariam, a senior oil and gas executive.

The Ooni, who turns 48 this month, will soon have two more wives living with him in the palace: Tobi Phillips and Princess Ashley Adegoke.

His wedding to Phillips will take place on October 9, 2022.

Phillips, a former beauty queen, and the Ooni have reportedly been dating for six years. After Olori Zainab Wuraola departed, it was reportedly predicted that the University of Lagos marine science graduate would succeed her as queen, but Silekunola entered the picture.

Adegoke, on the other hand, is the mother of a 10-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

She is a chartered accountant and also runs a non-governmental organisation known as the Ashley Adegoke Foundation.

Armed with a bachelor’s degree in accounting coupled with a master’s in accounting and finance from the University of Greenwich, she is said to run her businesses in the United Kingdom, where she is the head at RisenCrown Ltd.

Her wedding to the Ooni will take place on Friday, October 14, 2022. Adegoke is from the Lafogido royal house. Her father is the late Prince Jacob Adegoke.

The wedding invite which has gone viral reads, “The Royal Family of Late Prince Adebiyi Adegoke of the Adagba compound in Lafogido Ruling House cordially invites you to the traditional wedding of their daughter Her Royal Highness Omo Oba Afolasade Ashley Adegoke and His Imperial Majesty Ooni Adeyeye Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II on Friday, the 14th of October 2022.”

The invitation also stated that after meeting with the groom at the palace, marriage rites will take place immediately at the late Prince Adebiyi Adegoke’s residence in Ile Ife, Osun State.
