The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, and his third wife, Olori Tobi Phillips, have unveiled the names of their twins.
Glamsquad reported a week ago that the Oòni and his third wife welcomed a set of twins.
Ooni took to his Instagram page to announce the arrival of his twins with a photo of him and his third wife and ex-beauty queen, Olori Tobi Phillips.
He went on to express gratitude to God for the great He has done for them.
In a new development, Oòni and the lates mum the Ooni christened their babies according to tradition.
The royal twins were named in accordance with the tradition and culture of Ile Ife. For Taiye, who is a princess, her names are Adesewa, Oreade, and Oluwatamilore Ejide Ogunwusi.
Kehinde, the prince, was named Adeshina, Oreade, Ejide, Oluwasemilore Ogunwusi.
In a video seen on social media, Olori Tobi Phillips was seen reading out the twins’ names from a paper in the presence of palace members. However, the Ooni was notably absent.
According to reports, the tradition of the land doesn’t permit the Ooni to see his twins for now.
