Courtney Clenney, an OnlyFans model, has pleaded not guilty to the murder of her late Nigerian boyfriend, Christian Tobechukwu Obumseli, glamsquad reports.
Clenney, also known as Courtney Tailor, was arrested on August 10 as a suspect in the murder of Obumseli earlier this year.
According to court documents obtained by E! News, the model entered a written plea of not guilty to one count of second-degree murder with a deadly weapon on August 18.
Her arraignment is set for August 31, four days after she was denied bond in her initial court appearance.
Clenney’s lawyer, Frank Prieto, said after her arrest that the police action was shocking because there was “clear evidence of self-defense in this matter.”
Obumseli’s family, on the other hand, has disputed Clenney’s claim of self-defense, claiming that he was the victim of domestic violence.
