It’s the 11th season of Nigeria’s Next Super Model and with excitement the organizers and founder of the talent and modeling pageant recounts the journey so far and what the past winners have been doing after emerging winners.
I want to be the next Nigeria’s Next Super Model… This is more like lyrics to the favorite song of aspiring models, super models, even up and coming models in Nigeria, Africa and/or any part of the world – of girls. Nigeria’s Next Super Model continues to be rated as Africa’s top modeling contest. The contest has produced several top models found on the international fashion runways, international modeling agencies, fashion events, and that are favorites of cutting-edge fashion designers from various parts of the fashion world. Since inception, Nigeria’s Next Super Model has been in the business of scouting and remolding untapped young girls into world class models who during and after their reigns continue to grace the international runways, feature in top designer’s fabrics, and become the favorite of international photographers all around the world. Some of the past queens became the most sought-after models in Africa.
Now in its 11th year, the Africa’s No 1 Modeling Contest – Nigeria’s Next Super Model has kept up the trend of beating-the-pasts in the progression of the event. Every year it gets better and bigger and 2017 is set to be an extraordinaire. Firstly, by making the registration 100% FREE the organizer – Joan Okorodudu made it possible for every girl to be given the same fair chance in the quest of bringing out the best in them and also in line with the basic concept of the event, “helping young girls”. With a success story of 10 Brand New Cars given to winners, and several girls molded into international models, and being seen in several international fashion weeks around the world… Nigeria’s Next Super Model remains the topmost modeling contest and proudly Afircan brand.
Nigeria’s Next Super Model is also known as the main entry point into one the topmost modeling agencies in Africa, ISIS Models Africa which is owned by the same person – Joan Okorodudu. ISIS Models Agency is an International agency based in South Africa popularly known for scouting and managing the best models in Africa.
On an occasion, one of the winners of Nigeria’s Next Super Model was named by Vogue Italia during the Milan Fashion week 2015 as one of the face to watch out for. She has since then been photographed by international Photographers like Cristiano Miretti, James Hercules, Aham Obumleme, Hakeem Salam, Kelechi Amadi-Obi, Yetunde Babaeko to mention a few.Bunmi Ademokoya was a regular on the fashion scene in South Africa and has done Paris,Milan, London ,Malta and New York fashion weeks.She has done show for top designers like Dany Atrache,Walid Atallah,Odette Steele,Apujan,Emilio Dela Morena,Mario Dice and a major campaign with Adidas London,she has also walked for top designers like David Tlale and Deola Sagoe and Desigual and was face of 2014 New york and London fashion week for MAC cosmetics.Bunmi has her own shoe brand now.Aisha Bello was frequently seen in South Africa .She also did London ,New York and Milan.She has done Deola Sagoe,David Tlale,Walid Atallah,Dany Atrache,,Mario Dice and many more.Aisha has a clothing brand Elegante by Aisha and a modeling agency called Star Models.The winner of 2015 Victoria Daropale has just finished her licence as a dietician which she passed with flying colors,like Bunmi and Aisha she has graduated from the university and ready to take the world by storm.She won the Fresh Faces in Barcelona and has done Mercedes Benz fashion week Joburg,Barcelona fashion week and LFDW..She had to concentrate on her education and now ready for her modeling career.She has walked for designers like Marriane Fassler,Mille Collins,David Tlale,and many more.Other models who have done so well are Kemi Amusan,Moturayo and Ramatu.We also have our Sudanese beauties whom we have placed in Europe and America,Adot with D1 London,D1 New York and Beyond Milan and Nyara whom we have placed with APM New York and Brave Model Milan.We are also equally excited about Peter Finn who is doing very well in Milan and recently shot a campaign with ETRO

Registeration to contest is closed. Registration closed immediately after the screening, and the shortlisted contestants are being called into camp. Watch Videos of past editions of NNSM camp activities.
Voting
Voting has started and it takes place on the official website of the competition, www.nigeriasnextsupermodel. org/vote. Screening out of the camp is basically by voting. Voters also stand a chance to win free entry ticket into the grand finale of the event, ensure you input your email address on the voting page.
