Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Ugbekile David Osemeke, better known as Boy Spyce, has stated that those criticising his female colleague, Simi, do not realise how talented she is.
Glamsquad recalls that Simi has faced criticism from some fans, who have called for her to change her voice, citing that her sound was monotonous.
Reacting to the backlash, Boy Spyce mentioned that he was drawing inspiration from Simi while writing a song he is currently working on. He emphasized that critics might not fully grasp the extent of her talent.
Taking to his X account, the Mavin Records signee wrote:
“Writing a ballad song rn in my car and jamming Simi’s Simisola album for inspo … Omo y’all don’t realize how talented that woman is!”
