Nigerian Singer Timaya slams ‘fake’ alcoholic drinks sellers

Inetimi Alfred Timaya Odon, better known as Timaya, a popular Nigerian musician, has criticized sellers of counterfeit alcoholic products.

The enraged artist, who appears to have been a victim of a fake drink seller, has vowed to take action against those who peddle such products.

Timaya lashed out on his X handle, saying, “It will never be well with people that sell fake alcohol. Amen.”

Buju, the artist also known as BNXN, called out a bar in December for selling him adulterated and counterfeit alcoholic drinks at the same price as the original. The musician stressed the importance of respecting customers’ health and money.

BNXN threatened to seize the microphone from the club’s hypeman if the unnamed lounge repeated the incident.

In other news, after British Airways downgraded her ticket, reality TV star Erica Nlewedim showed the other side of her personality at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.

Taking to her Instagram Live, the BBNaija former housemate disclosed that an airport official downgraded her ticket from Business Class to Economy without giving her an explanation. To make matters worse, she claimed they seized her luggage.

Erica noted that she didn’t start her Instagram Live recording initially and wanted to resolve the issue calmly. However, she changed her mind after one of the officials, Stanley, called a uniformed officer on her.

The furious Erica went on to create a scene at the Airport, stating that they hadn’t seen her mad side in four years, and thus, she was bringing it out.

While she insisted she received the service she paid for, she boasted about being wealthier than the airport staff.
