Nigerian singer, Asake releases statement following a stampede at his London show which left 4 people critically injured

In response to a stampede that occurred at his London concert and left 4 people gravely injured, Nigerian artist Asake has released a statement, glamsquad reports

At 9.35 p.m. on Thursday, emergency personnel flocked to the O2 Academy on Stockwell Road after receiving reports of crowd disturbances. Additionally, it was claimed that those who attempted to enter the venue without tickets were the ones who started the rush.

Asake expressed his sympathies for those hurt yesterday night in a statement posted to his Instagram feed.

The artist said that he is in the process of getting in touch with the stampede victims, but he hasn’t received a comprehensive explanation from the venue management as to what caused the commotion at The Brixton Academy’s entry.

 

He composed;

 

“My heart goes out to everyone who was hurt or uncomfortable last night.

“I hope for your quickest recovery. Additionally, I am in the process of contacting specific people. I still don’t have a complete explanation from the venue management as to what caused the commotion outside The Brixton Academy’s entry, but we are grateful that everything ended peacefully in the end.

“I’m really sorry that my presentation had to end for my audience members who appreciated the beginning. I appreciate your incredible affection, London.

“I adore you excessively! In a little while, I look forward to seeing you again.
