Nigerian gay rights activist weds American Policy advisor and politician

Micheal Ighodaro, a Nigerian LGBT rights activist, married his Armenian-American boyfriend, Jirair Ratevosian, on Monday night, October 9 in New York City.

Among the guests at their wedding were Nigerian LGBT rights advocates Edafe Okporo and Jide Macaulay. Jirair is a Democratic contender for California’s 30th congressional district in the 2024 election.

Last year, the couple became engaged.
