Nigerian celebrities storm Olu of Warri’s coronation as Omawumi sings National Anthem

Nigerian celebrities like popular singer, Omawumi Magbele, and others stormed the coronation of the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III.

The amazing singer performed Nigeria’s National anthem at the event.

The Itsekiri Kingdom-Delta state born sonorous singer gave an excellent rendition of the anthem to the excitement of guests at the event.

The coronation ritual is presently underway in the Ode-Itsekiri (Big Warri), the Itsekiris’ ancestral residence in Delta State’s Warri South Local Government Area.
Omawumi was lauded by her people as the Pride of Iwerre at a traditional occasion covered by a Punch writer.

The coronation of the 21st Olu of Warri was attended by a number of dignitaries who had come to the Warri Kingdom to witness the historic event.

It was previously claimed that 1,000 police officers would be sent to ensure complete security prior to, during, and after the coronation.

CP Ari Muhammed Ali, the State Commissioner of Police, said on Wednesday that the step was part of the Command’s customary proactive measures to provide hitch-free security at such events.

Two bomb squads were also dispatched 48 hours ahead of the coronation day to ensure safety, according to the CP.
